LOOKING FOR A COHOUSER IN CENTRAL GHENT

I’m looking for someone to share a beautiful new-build home (2024, first resident) in one of Ghent’s hidden gems — a quiet one-way street tucked between AZ Sint-Lucas and Gravensteen. It’s right in the city centre, yet so peaceful you’d almost forget you’re there. Across the street is a large green courtyard where you can enjoy the sun in tranquillity — a little oasis that stays calm because it belongs to nearby service flats.

The room for rent is furnished with a comfortable 180 cm bed, wardrobe, and storage chest. There’s also a guest room you’re welcome to use from time to time.
The small outside area is still a work in progress — if you have ideas for making it greener, cosier, or more functional, they’re more than welcome! I've been wanting to "green it up" and haven't gotten around to it!

This arrangement is for September 2025 until the end of January 2026, with the possibility to extend. I’d love to share the space with someone who enjoys a friendly and calm home, appreciates both time together and personal space, and is open to good, kind communication. If you care about sustainability and social justice, we’ll probably get along well.

A bit about me (x): I’m curious and always learning something new — whether it’s a hobby, a skill, or simply exploring ideas. I love both active and quiet moments: a walk in nature, a deep conversation, or relaxing with a good book or film. I try to keep a home environment that feels calm, friendly, and alive at the same time.

Rent is €800/month, all-in (gas, electricity, water, internet).
